Palma Ristorante is seeking an experienced Expo / Food Runner to join our team immediately.
Located in the heart of Downtown Burbank, Palma Ristorante is a high-energy, upscale Italian restaurant known for exceptional service, refined cuisine, and a fast-paced dining environment.
We are looking for a professional who understands the importance of precision, communication, teamwork, and urgency in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Expedite food from the kitchen while ensuring accuracy, presentation, and proper timing.
- Communicate clearly and efficiently between the kitchen and front-of-house team.
- Deliver food promptly and professionally to guests.
- Assist servers in maintaining smooth and seamless table service.
- Support bussing and table maintenance as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line and dining room.
- Ensure every plate meets Palma Ristorante’s standards before leaving the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of fine-dining Expo experience required.
- Previous experience as a Food Runner in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant.
- Strong sense of urgency and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tickets while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, polished, and professional.
- Ability to remain focused and perform effectively under pressure.
Availability Requirements
- Must be available for dinner shifts beginning at 4:00 PM or later.
- Weekend availability is required, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.
- Holiday availability is required.
